On my last day visiting my friend Adina in Borås we decided to enjoy the rare sun rays in Sweden’s most rainy city by painting outside on the veranda. We had a hard time in the beginning cause a bee kept on trying to join us and both of us are terrified of bees… I can understand its interest in our breakfast and the honey for my tea but when it started going for the paints both of us couldn’t understand its obsession with something it couldn’t even consume!
I tried my hands on some acrylic paint and first wanted to make some minimalist self-portrait and was ready for some Picassoesque outcome but I was pleasantly surprised, considering I’ve never been a really artsy person and I haven’t held a paint brush since junior high! I mean it’s not any masterpiece but it certainly made me more interested in picking up my own acrylics at home too!
