Today it’s the national waffle day here in Sweden. I’ve been loving Belgian waffles since I went to Seoul the first time and had the Coffee Smith waffles. This year I decided to buy a waffle iron that makes that type of waffle, and what better day to try it than today!
They turned out good! Not perfect they are not café level yet! But they did taste really good, a bit more cakey when warm than crisp waffley but I blame it on the baking powder! Did any other Swede have some bomb waffles today? Maybe a better recipe for me to try next time? 🥰
