Good morning everyone!
A little extra blog post but we blame it on the vacation~
We are still in London and today is the day of BF’s interview. I’ll be waiting for him at a cafe nearby or right at the embassy if I’m allowed and if he isn’t too stressed after (I’m hoping he will be beaming) I was hoping we could go see the Claude Monet exhibit in Shoreditch.
So we did make it to the exhibit and it was lovely! I had been to the Van Gogh one in Uppsala last year and enjoyed it that’s why I was excited about this one. The exhibition was as beautiful as the Van Gogh one with the recreations of their homes and art. I really liked the room with the bridge of the ”garden” but was so immersed in the surroundings that I forgot to take any pictures(and later wasn’t allowed to go back T^T.
The one thing I preferred with the Van Gogh exhibit was the quotes and story line during the projections art installation, it was beautiful with the different artworks and music but seeing the backstory and quotes while the pictures floated by made it so much more magical during the Van Gogh exhibit. It made you really immerse into his thought process and see similarities with his life and art.
