I had an era post-Korea where I would get my nails done monthly at a salon. It took one painful broken nail mid-way down the fleshy part, making me swear off that regular manicure. I have quite taken a liking to playing with my nails, and regular polish is much easier for beginners than using the led-light machines. I really like being able to change up the look easily without having to do the whole shaving down process with the electric files. One of my favorite looks lately has been experimenting with these halo powders from Daiso in Japan.
You just need to chose a shade you like, let them dry well enough so they can handle a bit off rubbing with a sponge brush and voil´á.
