Den 6 April 2019 kommer vara en dag jag tar med mig i minnesbanken, det är nämligen första gången en av mina vänner gifter sig! Det är en väldigt speciell upplevelse att få vara närvarande under en av de viktigaste dagarna av en sån nära persons liv. Min gymnasievän Asmaa gifte sig med sin pojkvän Axel och det var så fint se hur deras kärlek nått ett nytt kapitel. De är ganska annorlunda men respekterar och komplimenterar varandra så bra.
Något som var extra kul var att jag och Adina(en till gymnasievän) var med Asmaa under hela förberedelserna innan själva festen. Vi fick hjälpa till att knyta korsetten på hennes brudklänning, trä skosnörena i Axels skor och ta bröllopsfoton i kylan vid Kungsträdgården!
Festen var också helt magisk! Att se båda familjerna samlas och komma från hela världen för att fira deras kärlek var så vackert och se alla dansa till så annorlunda musik från vad de vara vana till var väldigt gulligt, haha!
Grattis Asmaa och Axel! Nu får ni se till att ha ett underbart liv framöver och fortsätta älska gränslöst i måååååånga år framöver!
PS. Blir jag inte gudmor när ni till slut bestämmer er för en större familj så kommer jag bli en äkta Disneyhäxa!
The 6th of April 2019 will forever be stored with the rest of my fond memories in my memory bank, it is the first time one of my close friends get married! It’s such a special thing to participate in such an important day for someone that means so much to you. One of my best high school friends, Asmaa got married to her boyfriend Axel and it was a gorgeous experience to see the manifestation of their love. They are quite different people but respect and compliment each other so well and that is so heartwarming to see.
Something that made the whole thing extra special was that Adina and I (another high school friend) was with Asmaa from the actual getting-ready-stage of the day. We helped Asmaa tie her corset, lace the groom’s shoes and take lovely wedding pictures with her cousin who is a professional photographer. It was chilly at the Royal Gardens of Uppsala but now afterward it’s definitely worth it!
Of course, the party itself was magical! It was so beautiful to see both families come together from all sides of the world to celebrate their love. both parties ate, talked and danced with each other to their different styles of music, super adorable, haha~
Congratulations and all my well wishes and support to my Amazing friend and her husband! I know you guys will be happy together and proceed to have a wonderful life for a time ahead!
Ps. If you don’t make me Godmother to the or one of your future adorable kids I’ll go full out Malificient on you guys!
