Good evening everyone,
Today is our first properly rainy autumn day in Uppsala, and with the crisp morning air and gloomy evening weather, I sadly, but at the same time, really felt like autumn had finally started. This is simultaneously immensely calming, the passing of time, and us moving forward feel more tangible now.
Get back into the gym
One of my major goals this autumn is to get back into going to the gym. This feels like a constant goal of mine that I never really get to. I hope to have more rest time with my new schedule, which will give me more time for the gym.
Meal prepping
Another goal of mine is to get back into meal prepping for work. I had a really good track record of meal prepping for work for the past years, but 2025 has been a lazy year in the prepping department and has led to my food budget being higher than ever before due to ad hoc lunch and dinner buys at the airport, and we all know about the inflated airport prices… I can’t entirely blame my planning skills, though.
When we moved into this one-bedroom place, I didn’t notice it at first, but the combined fridge and freezer here is slightly smaller than my old studio flat’s… That and the fact that we are now two foodies in this home is not a good combination! One of the top priorities the next time we move flats is seriously a SEPARATE fridge and freezer so we can REALLY enjoy food again! I promise that it will astronomically improve my meal prepping. At least then I will have somewhere to store them!
Proper blogging
This has been one of those other yearly goals that have never really caught on. I had a good one-year run one of the years before the pandemic, while I was using NOUW, but that was about it. I fell off it and never really got back on. Usually, I make the typical mistake of ‘waiting for the correct time’ to start again(the usual start of summer, January 1st, birthdays). Even this post has been delayed a couple of times already but now I will just start. End of October not even the last day, lets get it done!
