Monster is a psychological thriller that revolves around a young Japanese brain surgeon Kenzo Tenma who ends up entangled in a decade long murder mystery after a family massacre in Germany in the 40’s. It’s one of those animes that I think would work well as a live action even American or British remake for the masses due to it’s slow burning suspense and psychological aspect.
