Hi again!
I have noticed that most of my jeans are completely tattered between the thighs, chub rub anyone? Anyhow, I just sat down, logged on to MONKI.COM, and got some new jeans. I love the jeans at MONKI. Most of their wide fit ones like the Yokos and the Taikis are 100% cotton and you can really feel it. They are NICE, THICK denim that feels durable and sturdy. They look FANTASTIC on too. The Taikis, in particular, are a bit closer to my heart cause they are a cute straight, mom fit but they taper in at the feet and at one’s lower back which really helps with that awkward back gap that can appear if you have a fuller figure. Otherwise, jeans usually either fit my legs OR the waist, I can seldomly have the best of both worlds.
I had ordered a batch of jeans that came last week and ordered them in new size cause I’ve gained a bit of weight lately. I definitely overachieved on the sizing though cause when they got here I got hit with the fact that I could have sized down a bit… I had a pair of 42s at home and noticed that those were getting a bit tight and I wanted my new ones to fit more comfortably. I took my measurements, compared them to the sites’s recommendation, and I’m not gonna lie… got a bit disappointed when my favorite brand BIGGEST size was my current size. Especially when I don’t think I’m even that big? What about other people that would be bigger than me why shouldn’t they be able to buy clothes at these stores~
Sure, in the end they were too big. So I will be getting a new batch of the second to largest size… which still isn’t that impressive. I wish they could expand the biit more for more inclusivity. I do LOVE MONKI’s clothes and even tend praise their sizing quite often but I really wish the sizes could expand so my friends with larger sizes could also enjoy their clothes. I will tell you guys how the new jeans fit once the package is here. It seems like it might be coming today~!

Jag lade märke till att alla mina jeans hade slitits ut mellan låren, chub rubs någon? Hur som helst, jag loggade in på MONKI.COM och började lägga till några jeans i varukorgen. Jag älskar MONKIs jeans för de sitter så bra och är gjorda av tjockt bomullstyg som håller längre. Mina favoriter är deras Yoko och Taiki jeans. Båda är lite vidare modeller, Yokon har lite mer utsvängda 70-tals ben medan Taikis går in lite både vid vaderna och uppe vid midjan. Det bästa med de här jeansen är att dem sitter snyggt och som de ska både vid benen och vid midjan. Vanligtvis när jag köper vidare jeans så får jag kompromissa om de ska sitta bäst vid midjan eller vid benen.
Förra veckan hade jag beställt och fått hem ett gäng jeans från dem men eftersom jag gått upp lite i vikt så behövde jag prova en ny storlek. Jag tog mina mått och jämförde dem med hemsidans förslag och beställde hem lite olika jeans i storlek 46. Ja…46, deras största storlek. Asså nu blev jag inte störd på storleken i sig men mer på att min nuvarande kropp skulle vara den största de erbjöd? Va ska de som är kurvigare än mig göra? Visst det finns andra ställen de säkerligen kan köpa kläder på men det finns så mycket fint på MONKI som jag skulle vilja använda även om jag gick upp ytterligare ett par storlekar.
Nu slutade det ändå med att det mesta var för stort och jag fick beställa om dem i en storlek mindre men ändå! 42:an började bli för tight, 46 som var den största(finns 48 i vissa modeller) för stor så jag får hoppas på att 44 passar annars får jag leta efter nya favorit jeans. Jag älskar MONKI och brukar alltid prata om hur mycket jag gillar att deras storlekar är mer inkluderande till olika kroppar. Jag önskar verkligen att de kanske kunde fundera på att till och med erbjuda några fler storlekar så alla kan känna sig manade och bekväma att gå in på en MONKI butik och hitta sitt nya favorit plagg! Jag berättar för er hur de nya jeansen sitter när jag fått hit paketet, det kanske till och med kommer idag~!
