När jag var i Seoul i våras så passade jag på att ta med mig några av mina favvonagellack från nature republic! Har fått så mycket komplimanger om det, folk tror att jag gått och fixat naglarna hos någon. Det sitter super bra, färgerna är superfina och mina naglar har blivit är superstarka och långa. Det är säkert för att jag använder deras nagelstärkande, bas och topplack vilket gör att lacket sitter som en smäck och naglarna inte bryts lika lätt som mina brukade göra förr.
Jag slutade också göra nagelförlängningar och gellack någon gång i början på året, jag tror det var ungefär när jag och killarna var i London. Det var också en storförbättring för min nagelhälsa eftersom jag älskar att pilla på dem även om de är fixad. Jag gnagde och lossade på de tills de bit för bit lossnade för så fort ett litet hörn tappade fästet kunde jag inte låta det vara. Så jag bestämde mig både för naglarnas och min plånboks skull att ta ett uppehåll och det har ju då varat. En del av mig tycker faktiskt det är roligare att måla de själv jag kan byta fritt utan att det kostar för mycket eftersom jag har ganska många färger och jag behöver inte störa mig på utväxter för det är lätt att fixa.
Eftersom jag har ganska många färger så måste jag organisera dem på ett smidigt sätt se det hela inte ser superstökigt ut speciellt i min lilla lägenhet som snabbt kan kännas plottrig om allt bara ligger runt på ställen där de inte hör hemma. Jag tog en liten korg från Daiso där jag innan hade haft random papper och lappar och satt mig en eftermiddag och målade på små prickar av färgerna som stämde överens på flaskornas korkar på så sett kan jag lätt hitta färgen jag vill ha när jag ska hämta nåt i mitt lilla gömme. Det är ett lätt trick för att lätt hitta flaskan man vill ha så man slipper rota igenom alla för att hitta den där mörkblåa färgen!

When I was in Seoul this past May I picked up some of my favorite nail polishes from Nature Republic and I have gotten so much great response when wearing their colors, some people even think I’ve gone and got them done professionally. The color really lasts with this brand and the nails stay strong and the color opaque. I think part of the fix is that I am using their nail strengthener, base and topcoats all adding up to a firmer and more healthy nail so they have grown a lot longer and aren’t as frail as they were before.
I actually stopped doing acrylic nails and gel polish sometime around January I think. If I’m mistake I had and got rid of my last set while I was in London with the boys. Even though I loved the look of acrylics it really wasn’t for me since I couldn’t keep myself from pulling and chewing at them. Once they started getting loose on an end and it wasn’t really time for a refill yet I couldn’t keep myself away from them. I decided that it was best for both my nails and my wallet if I just gave them a break for a while, and this decision has made it all the way to December. Considering I have so many colors at home now and doing my nails has really become a fun and creative hobby I don’t I will stop any time soon. It’s really fun to be to play with colors and not commit to something for a whole month and have to wait to change up the look~
Since I do have a quite generous stash of hues to choose from it’s important to keep them organized especially in my smaller space that can easily look very cluttered if things are just scattered around. I put all my bottles in a white basket I got from Daiso while studying in Seoul and spent an afternoon putting little dots of the corresponding color on the lids. This really helps with finding the color I’m searching for without making a whole mess in the process.
